Condolence: I am so sorry for your loss. I will always remember Cindy as an energetic teacher to my sons, Dylan and Coltrane, and as a positive, caring Mom when she spoke to me about Remy and Monique as students in Centre Dufferin DHS.

Condolence: I first met Cindy when I taught her daughter Monique at CHES. Cindy was a wonderful mom and an easy parent to talk to. One of my favourite parents in my years of teaching! Over the years, we always talked at PD events and she always shared what Monique was up to and how proud of her she was. Her love and pride of her children who always evident. I will miss seeing her and hearing updates about Monique. She was always so full of energy and laughter. Even at the last PD event that I saw her at in September, she was busy making a ton of visuals and supports for her students with excitement. Rest in peace Cindy. You were a remarkable mom and educator. My heart felt condolences to Guy, Remy, and Monique.

Condolence: My thoughts and prayers are with the Chalifoux family during this difficult time. I am thankful for having had the privilege of working with Cindy at Laurelwoods Elementary School. Her laugh and sense of humour were unforgettable, her passion for teaching and supporting students was truly inspiring and her love for her family even more so; seeing her face light up as she spoke of them said a million words. Cindy will be missed by the many people whose lives she touched and left a lasting impression on.
