Sincere condolences on behalf of the Hiemstra family. Mae was our mother’s Avalon neighbour for many years and always had a smile to great us all while visiting there.

So sorry to hear of Aunt Mae’s passing. It was hard to not be able to go see her with all the Covid restrictions. Her and uncle Keith were a fond memory of my childhood and so happy to be able to reconnect with them a few years back. She was always so welcoming when I went to see her at the avalon and she sure loved her sons and grandchildren! She was very special xox
