Wilson, Donna Darlene
February 2, 1945-January 7, 2021

Donna Wilson, beloved wife of Ron Wilson, proud mother of Jennifer (Scott) and the late Christopher, loving grandmother to Taylor, Trent, Brooke and Bryn, sister of Carey (Kathryn), aunt of Lindsay and Michelle, passed away after a short battle with cancer with Ron and Jennifer holding her hand.
There will be a Celebration of Life once we can gather safely. In honour of her passing, in lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.

Donna has been a friend for over 30 years after we met as colleagues at Dufferin Oaks. I will miss the visits to the trailer and our many lunch outings and shopping trips. As I look through my home and closet, I see many items that we bought on our outings. One of my favourite memories was of us cruising down the Las Vegas strip in a red convertible ( thanks Ron! ) and Donna flirting with the parking valets. During our last conversation, knowing the seriousness of her diagnosis, Donna joked “It is so unfair, I thought only the good die young.” Well Donna, you were not only a good one, but one of the best. I will miss you.
